Overdose
Overdose: Taking too much drugs, medication or alcohol resulting in an overdose.
Symptoms:
Dizziness, faintness
Convulsions
Weak pulse
Difficulty breathing
Vomiting
Loss of consciousness
First Aid Overdose
Call Emergency Service immediately
Position the casualty: If the person is unconscious, carefully place them on their side and check their airway, breathing, and pulse.Contact emergency services:
Stay calm, provide information on any changes in the patient's condition, and follow their instructions.
CPR if necessary: If CPR is needed and you are able to perform it safely, initiate chest compressions and rescue breaths. Be cautious of potential dangers, such as aggressive bystanders or environmental hazards.
Identify the substance: Try to determine which drug was taken. Send any containers, tablets, or syringes related to the incident to the hospital with the casualty. Additionally, provide a sample of vomit in a covered jar for further analysis
